HPIS performed a comprehensive market study and built a financial model for investment in a niche grocery software/SaaS provider by a private investor group. The market study included global and regional analysis of the grocery industry, technology trends in that space, a study of software products relevant to it, and detailed competitive analysis based on our own research and expert interviews. Our LBO model included several financing scenarios, a detailed revenue and cost forecast with a three-phase expansion plan working with multiple variable assumptions, such as price increases, technology adoption rates, and sales efforts by geography and client type, among others. These materials were used to raise senior debt and equity capital for the transaction.

Based on given search criteria we developed proprietary pipeline of potential acquisition targets in the human resources software industry for an S&P 600 component company's corporate development group. The search was performed internationally and resulted in several suitable acquisition targets. We subsequently assisted in initial due diligence and management communications.
